Jacob Stonehocker, founder of Tungsten Sunrise, is a detail-driven financial expert with a passion for precision and doing things the right way. His journey into accounting began at Brigham Young University, where his analytical mindset and dedication earned him a Master of Accountancy degree. Jacob's expertise in construction-specific accounting was honed during his years in public accounting, where he helped contractors streamline financial processes, optimize project profitability, and master contract schedules. One of his most rewarding experiences was partnering with an electrical contractor to refine their financials, providing the clarity they needed to turn their business toward greater profitability. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the construction industry, Jacob saw firsthand the financial challenges contractors face. While his relatives built and managed businesses, he discovered his strength lay in helping them and others achieve financial stability and success. In 2020, he founded Tungsten Sunrise to provide high-quality accounting and insightful financial reporting—empowering businesses with the clarity and confidence they need to grow. Tungsten Sunrise embodies its name: Strength Delivered Consistently and Reliably—a philosophy Jacob brings to every client partnership. When he’s not working, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, as well as snowboarding and mountain biking with friends.
